THE SPLASHES are the very popular band consisting of Niamh (Dublin), Ros (London), Matthias (Paris) and Michael (Bavaria). NIAMH, born in Dublin, is the lead vocalist. Niamh has been living in Denia with her husband Boudy since October 2004. Her lovely son Aran was born in March 2005 and is keen drummer! Little Oscar was born in October 2008 and is a talented dancer! Niamh adores the live gigs and offers an energetic performance giving a sometimes powerful, sometimes poignant but always heartfelt delivery of your rock and blues favourites. Matthias came to Spain from Paris in 1995. He lives in Denia with his wife Véro and two Kids Mahéva and Nicolas. Matthias has played in several bands both in France and Spain performing various styles of music from blues, rock, funk, grunge, jazz, bossa nova, flamenco... That's probably why he's been called an "Off Road" musician, who can play a bit of everything and a touch of anything. 

ROS (London) began as a solo artist in 2007, singing and playing the guitar in venues on the Costa Blanca. Influenced by Country, Rock and Folk, she has adapted her style to include the Blues, Soul and Pop of the Splashes repertoire, while her second voice brings lively harmonies to back up Niamh's strong vocal lead. Dénia has been her home since 2005 where she now lives with her husband, Chris, and their two cats. Besides music, her passions include photography, off-roading and wine! Check out www.pixiestix.net

MICHAEL, born in Munich, has been living on the Costa Blanca since 2000 with his wife Barbara and two kids Laura and Noah. Playing the saxophone since his teens took him to performing on streets and in bars all over Europe. Michael enjoys using his sax in an inventive way with catchy riffs and challenging solos. Michael is also the band techie and timekeeper!
